• Owner of Hanson Financial Services, Inc., which provides computer programming to hospital billing offices throughout the United States. Performing most work remotely from her home office, Jennifer has been an independent consultant for four years, incorporating in 2007.
   

• Co-owner of GreenTech Solutions, Inc., which conducts energy audits and home inspections in the Capital Region
   

• Employed by Saratoga Hospital as a Systems Analyst for the past seven years, currently on a per diem basis to consult with key staff
   

• Prior career experience includes five years as an officer in the U.S. Army, two years as a Brand Manager at the Proctor & Gamble Company with responsibility for a $24-million dollar annual budget, and nine years as an administrator and teacher for a non-profit education center - The Option Institute & Fellowship in Sheffield, MA
   

• Additional experience: served as a Board Member and Treasurer for Unity Church in Albany; co-directed Unity’s fund-raising efforts to purchase a new church; wrote and delivered an award-winning speech in a Toastmasters International tri-state competition; and is the author of Alone on the Divide: One Woman’s Journey on the CDT, to be published by Rainbow Books, Inc. in 2008

• Resides in Latham with her partner, Denise Watso, and their son, Noah, age 5 (enrolled at Our World Montessori)
