Co-Founder and Admissions Coordinator - Nancy Adis
Nancy
works at home raising her four children and running the Adis household.
She has been actively involved in the educational experiences of her children
- including teaching American Sign Language at the Gateway Montessori
Preschool, volunteering in the library, participating as class parent,
and working as the PTA's Vice President to coordinate the school-wide
arts and education assemblies and programs at Glen-Worden Elementary
School. She has also participated as a member of S.P.A.C.E. (Scotia Parents
Advocating Challenging Education) and as the secretary for the
2006-07 Shared Decision Making Committee at Glen-Worden Elementary
School.
Employment
experience in public relations and marketing activities including event
coordination and writing newsletters/brochures/other written pieces.
Experience in working with college students and administering leadership
development programs and support systems. Experience in administration
and data base management. Experience in
childcare, teaching/leading activities and curriculum development in
arts and American Sign Language.
