July 12 – 16
– Architecture
Learn the basics of buildings, forms, structures and functions and then
try our hands at several different structures – a fairy house in secret
places, water structure, bird house, and maybe even a ogre house or
something Yoda might live in.
July 19 – 23
– Cooking
Let’s try something new each day! We’ll cook a little, eat a little,
share a little and hopefully expand our skills and share the wealth.
We’ll bake some dog biscuits for an animal shelter, some cookies for
people who can’t get out of their homes and perhaps try our hand at the
local soup kitchen.
July 26 – 30
– Council of All Beings
We are all connected, people, animals, rivers, mountains, trees,
flowers, air. We’ll take on the role of river or beaver, tree or
mountain and see how we work together, depend on one another and
discover what we need to stay healthy. Through tracking animals,
identifying trees and examining pond life we’ll turn what we learn into
a play or story for others to enjoy.
