RiverRun Community Montessori, founded in 2008, is a small non-profit Montessori school for children ages 2.5 to 12 years.  Staff is supported and appreciated by an active Board and parents. Lead Primary Teacher

Our lead teachers are Montessori certified.  We are a close collaborative community.  Our classrooms are multi age which encourages role modeling and peer collaboration.  Our goal is to develop a child’s natural talents and to stimulate the desire to learn.  Our staff provide a prepared learning environment with traditional Montessori lessons, allowing our children to work independently, using beautiful materials to practice concepts.  

The children arrive at 8:35 and have an uninterrupted work period, recess, lunch, and then our shorten day children are picked up, other children nap/rest and others enter a second work period.  School ends at 3:00.  

Applicants should have or be working towards a four year degree and have experience working with children.  The applicant should be looking to take on the role of Lead Teacher.  Montessori certification is preferred or there needs to be a desire, ability and willingness to become a certified Primary Montessori Lead Teacher.
